Half a million strong (Woodstock)

I started writing this blog as a bit of fun on the side. But I must admit that it grew on me. There's a certain immediacy to this medium which is quite addictive.

It seems that many out there are becoming fond of it too.

Today, this blog hit the half a million page views mark. Not bad for a bit of fun spanning less than five months.

Again, thank you for following.

Perhaps you might want to have Bondiblog delivered to your doorstep, in a manner of speaking. There is a box to the right of this post labelled "We deliver (well, sort of)". Click on 'posts' and/or 'all comments', choose your favourite cyber courier and you're all set to have it delivered to your cyber doorstep.

You might also have it as an RSS feed on your homepage.

Anonymous, don't mention "hits" which is the most intentionally abused term in the history of the Web.

Hits is used dishonestly to impress the gullible. Hits is the number of file retrievals, now since a single "page" can consist of several files, from one to innumerable, this statistic is worthless and easily abused.

Page views is something else, far more meaningful.

But unique visitor stats is "where it's at".

Well done Lou. Not bad for someone who is on the death row of the Labour Party.
