Interesting facts. It appears that Mater Dei did make a difference after all.
Needless to say, if there is only one person left waiting for an operation he or she would complain. And justifiably so.
The length of the waiting list is completely irrelevant to the one waiting. One's health is always one's health.
But for those coming off the waiting list and hitting the operating table, this is certainly good news.
