Young men who make you hope

Stalko
Just when you're about to accept that this country will always remain a tiny insular island state something happens which lifts your spirits and makes you hope again.

Listen to this beautiful piece of music by the local band Stalko.
It is fresh, confident, intelligent and prudently uninhibited stuff. It is also at the cutting edge of what is happening in an important patch of the music world in the UK and the US. Although I hate the term with a passion, it is called nu-folk.

I can really see Stalko opening for the Fleet Foxes or Midlake or Sufjan Stevens.

Look to the future guys.

It's good Lou, but they are very similar to Mumford and Sons and The Snowdroppers. We should never forget the grandaddies of them all too, Etnika :)

Lou, the video for this song was well put and directed, thanks to JP Gatt. Unfortunately, musically I do not see any difference from the band Mumford and Sons, thus diminishing their originality. Just listen to Sigh no More, the 1st track from Mumford and Sons album.
