I'm so incited

Not quite. Just inciting people to read DCG
"Sahansitra incita lill-qarrejja ta' dan il-blog biex jidhlu fis-sit elettroniku ta' Daphne Caruana Galizia ..."

This is another 'accusation' which Julia Farrugia and her sidekick, Toni Abela the PL deputy leader, wish to level against me in front of the Institute of Maltese Journalists' Ethics Commission.

Now European history is replete with good as well as evil writers who are jailed, tortured and even executed for writing words which 'incite' people to do good or evil deeds.

But this must be the first time ever in Europe that a writer - me - is accused of 'inciting' people to read someone else's writing.

I'm spending today in Gozo with my 15-year daughter Hannah. I couldn't help recalling how much we used to laugh when, as a toddler, she used to say, "Pa, I'm so incited", a mispronunciation of excited.

I'm not sure that Julia and Toni have progressed much beyond Hannah's toddler years.

This is the new Progressive, Liberal and Modern party. They cannot even see how regressive and passe their ideology is! Well, they have no ideology. What they have is hdura, envy and shallow marketing that mimicks their supporters. Dwejjaq ta nies!

This is not funny.

Didn't you participate in the demonstration alongside Evarist and Owen against censorship and the right to free speech?

Where are they now?

I confess. I read her blog …. yes HER blog … the one whose name I dare not utter. It was not my fault …. it was that man … what’s his name … Lou … Lou Bond …or is it Bondin …I’ mot quite sure. He incited me ….. he made me do it. I wouldn’t have read HER blog had it not been for him. I will not do it again. Promise.
