Reno Borg, the judge who has a right to an opinion |
"L-arroganza politika li rajna f'dawn l-ahhar snin taghmel il-hajja f'Malta insopportabbli kieku kellu jibqa' l-istess gvern." (l-orizzont, 19/02/08)
"The PN General Council was unfortunately an exercise in political hatred. It has been the PN's strategy to throw abuse at their political adversaries and especially trying to 'assasinate' Alfred Sant." (MaltaToday, 10/10/07)
"Minn dan il-Bagit jidher li l-Gvern irid jisraq il-voti ... imma ghadu 'l boghod hafna milli jwettaq dak li hemm progettat minn Gvern Laburista gdid." (l-orizzont, 17/10/07)
"Your two minutes of power on 8 March can make the difference. Don't waste the chance to strengthen democracy by voting in a new government. Another five years of the same stuff would stagnate the country and subject all of us to unbearable arrogance." (MaltaToday, 27/2/08)
Guess who made the above four statements? Joseph Muscat, the PL leader? No. One of the party's deputy leaders? No. A Labour MP? No.
They were made by Reno Borg, a current member of the Broadcasting Authority board, a constitutional body which is duty-bound to enforce the broadcasting law.
For today, I will stop here.

He should state whther he's a member of Medel or close to Italy's Magistratura Democratica.
To clarify, Reno Borg was a member of the Broadcasting Authority when he made the above comments.
Was he the chosen member of the LP?
