Marvic Camilleri (left) and Cyrus Engerer, had a relationship which ran its course. Things seem to have turned sour and the former went to the police to accuse the latter of circulating pornographic images of him on the internet. Engerer was hauled in for questioning. Presumably convinced of his innocence, a few weeks later Engerer himself asked the police to bring charges against him in court.
Now this entire sequence of events happened before 15 July, the day Cryrus Engerer defected from the PN to the PL.
The iron-clad conclusion is clear. The chronology makes it is impossible for there to have been a connection between Engerer's departure from the PN and the charges being brought against him. Engerer was interrogated by the police when he was still waving the flag with the maduma emblazoned on it. Not when he started waving the one with the torca on it.
And to put in the final nail into this crazy conspiracy theory coffin, Marvic Camilleri, a Nationalist activist, has just asked for the charges to be dropped. He did so through his lawyer, Andy Ellul, a prospective Labour candidate.
So unless your mind is totally immune to facts, you have to pronounce this particular conspiracy theory dead and buried. Ah, but the story continues ...

Well, things like these make me wonder if we are still in primary school. Fact is we are not. My views is that both Cyrus and Marvic are out for a publicity stunt. Don't you remember when Hugh Grant was in the headlines for all the wrong sexual reasons. Well he became an A lister in an instant. Thing is people still fall for it, most of them anyhow!!!
