Here's the story ...

Here is this morning's The Malta Independent story in which Lawrence Grech alleges that the Malta Today journalist Karl Stagno Navarro offered him and Joseph Magro, his fellow sexual abuse victim, money to be interviewed for Al Jazeera.

The story is signed by David Lindsay, the editor of The Independent on Sunday.

Joseph Magro is supposed to have been promised money for showing his face on camera for the first time. Joseph Magro did in fact show his face for the first time on that occasion.

Both victims are claiming that they never got money that was promised to them by the Malta Today journalist.
