You've got a friend |
He has posted this message on his facebook wall: "Not usual for me to stay awake from politics and the Council, however, after posting some nice pictures, thought of posting this beautiful song: Excuses by The Morning Benders".
Let us start with the Freudian slip. Not usual for him to stay "awake" from politics? Mmm, you can say that again. Now to the really juicy bit, the lyrics.
Here are the first words of a song chosen by a man who was reported to the police by his ex-boyfriend for circulating pornographic pictures of him - hold you breath: 'You tried to taste me. And I take my tongue to the southern tip of your body'. Wait, wait, it gets better. 'And you felt another way to tell the truth.' Like reporting it to the police? Moving right along, 'I put no one else above us'. There are different schools of thought on the subject. And then the clincher: 'We'll still be best friends when all turns to dust'.
Now I am beginning to understand what being 'liberal' in the PL means. You first circulate pornographic of your ex-boyfriend-who-is-now-your-friend and then you proceed to serenade him in public.
To hear the song - and its a good one in a naive sort of way - click on this: L-Ghazla .... err F'Idejn Cyrus
